Flat out for Christmas

We have been flat out getting a few things ready for Christmas. Here are a couple of things we have been working on. A trapeze rig and a robot to mention a few. We even managed to roll the MAY E Ator out for a spontaneous end of year drink.

MAY E Ator

The MAY E Ator pictured below is a stand alone keg beer dispensing bar. It will be available for hire from December 9th. It went through vigorous testing last friday night at pint club hosted by the boys at Thunderbikes. So now its just finishing of all the little jobs and she will be up and ridding.

Holy moly look at this. The latest thing to come out of the workshop, a light fitting named “Bad Day For B9” A play on the robot from Lost In Space B9. Just a few more things then its install time.

Its a cut

Here is a small video of the cut off machine we have just finished for Alpine Fencing. It can take timber 4 Meters long by up to 300mm square.

You can't park there

ZK WAL has landded on a rock out side the Wanaka Transport & Toy Museum. No one Can find the pilot, but that,s nothing new. MAY E Machine has still a few things to do to finish the OZ copter, but hope to get it fully operational soon.

Where are we

We have just finished a nice pice. This is a destination bus blind from Bath going through its tests in the workshop. MAY E Machine is really living up to its alleged name as the south islands little Weta workshop.

Airplane is flying

The airplane light fitting has gone through it’s test and now it is flying somewhere around Wanaka. It looks grate. It was nice to have the opportunity to make something so cool.

Pirate video of OZcopter

MAY E Machine has discovered that a pirate video of a test run of the top secret OZcopter has been leaked on youtube. The local cyber police are following it up, they have been questioning a 47 year old man from Tarris who’s name has been suppressed by the court.

Wal get his first hands on the new OZcopter. He said the chopper feels good but he still needs work on his makeup and if we could stitch him up some cloths he will feel a little less exposed.

We have moved

We have moved to our new workshop and ooo boy it’s a beauty. After a month of new fit out and moving all that gear, we are up and running again. Thanks to all our current clients for their patience over the move. We plan to have a wee celebration on the 25th to mark the occasion. Nice little step up this week for Skydive Lake Wanaka’s new Plane “Jafa”. Using our brandnew 200 AC/DC TIG welder, its awesome.

The Machine is raging.

This is the MAY E Machine machine taking shape. It’s a machine that cuts square holes on fence posts. Designed and built by MAY E Machine for Alpine Fencing.

Stretch my trailer

Stretch my trailer, pimp my ride, chop my shop. Yes MAY E Machine has chopped its trailer to look more like a rail drag car than a handy little slap on weekend trailer.

Hooping mad

I’v heard of rabbit hooping but get a load of this launching hoop we have just finished for Wanaka Parasailing. I reckon if you stung some bird netting in that hoop, you could get a few low flying seagulls.

The Door

We have just finished and installed the new door in our house. It works and looks fantastic. The door is finished on the kitchen side with aluminum and aircraft rivets. Then glued on the inside is 10mm of EVA foam, wool batts and black weed matting. Then the lounge side is finished with sheets of perforated steel and a steel frame to hold it all on, all finished with a rust effect.
